| Femina Potens Art Gallery is in need of volunteers for our 2008 season. We are particularly in need of volunteers who are available during gallery hours for at least 4 hours a week during gallery hours of Thursday - Sunday, Noon - 6pm. Femina Potens is a non profit arts organization and an internship at FP can be used for school credit. Whether you're better with power tools, more inclined toward organization, or just love interacting with the amazing community around Femina Potens, your help will certainly be appreciated. Here a few specific positions we're looking to fill: -people familiar with HTML/PHP -IT help in hooking up web cam and web video streaming of events -handyladies and handymen who can help with flooring, buildiing benches, painting, installing shelves, etc. -art sales both in the gallery and online. A commission is earned on every sale. -decorative/feng shui/organizational crew. We've completely gutted and rehabbed our space and are still moving, shaking, and getting everything in order. -help broaden our database of artists for us to represent and outside venues for us to curate -fundraising -crew for publicity, promotion and coordination of events Please check out www.feminapotens.com for more info on Femina Potens and to fill out our volunteer application. |
